Intherapy: beauty that’s good for you and the planet

Intherapy has built their salon on the foundations of sustainability and was Queensland’s first sustainable salon. Here you can kick back and relax while intherapy looks after all your beauty needs.

Where it all started

Nichola Le Lievre has worked in the beauty industry for over twenty years and for the last six years she has owned intherapy. During this time, Nichola has built unforgettable client relationships and a dream team of staff that share her sustainable beauty values. Nichola and her team have changed the game in beauty by striving for elegance and excellence in beauty and sustainability, all while rocking her signature red lipstick.

What’s on offer

In today’s world where we are constantly connected, we sometimes forget about taking time out for ourselves so we can relax, unwind and rejuvenate. Intherapy is perfect for doing just that. On offer is an extensive range of beauty treatments to get you looking and feeling your best. Intherapy has your typical beauty treatments such as spray tans, waxing, threading and makeup sessions for those special occasions. Brows and lashes are intherapy’s speciality, and they offer a range of treatments including lifts, tinting and extensions.

If you after a more relaxing treatment you should check out their expansive range of facials and massages. These therapies are perfect for you to take some time out and switch off. There is a range of men’s therapies, including a specially designed facial catering for men’s skin needs. They also have a cosmetic physician on hand to help with the cosmetic injectables and anti-ageing cosmetic treatments. Intherapy also offers Dermapen, which is a micro skin needling technique that aims to create younger and healthier-looking skin.

Sustainability initiatives

Visit intherapy, and relax knowing that your beauty treatment isn’t costing the planet. Intherapy has undertaken numerous sustainability practices to help minimise environmental impacts and improve the surrounding community, which has helped them to be the first sustainable salon in Queensland. The products intherapy use have also been carefully selected to ensure the best results for you and the planet. The products used for all the treatments are Australian owned and made such as O Cosmedics and Ginger and Me. The brands do not use animal testing and contain only good ingredients, that means no preservatives or other nasties.

The salon donates to Australian organisations such as RSPCA, Sustainable Salons and Hummingbird House. Meanwhile, Intherapy is also aiming to achieve zero waste by recycling everyday beauty goods like razors and chemical. As recognition of the team’s dedication and hard work, they have been awarded Queensland’s Beauty Salon/Spa of the year in 2019 in the Australia Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA). In the year 2020, they have been nominated in the World Luxury Spa Awards. The intherapy team has worked together to build a sustainable beauty salon, perfect for you to take some time for yourself and relax.
